Nkiruka Theodora Achara, MSc, MPA, ACIPM, is a highly accomplished Human Resources professional with over 25 years of experience in talent management, recruitment, policy development, and organizational strategy. Currently serving as an HR Consultant at Enkay Heritage Ltd in Abuja, she provides expertise in recruitment, training, and organizational restructuring, while designing performance metrics and conducting background checks. Her career is marked by progressive leadership roles, including her tenure at UnityKapital Assurance Plc, where she held dual responsibilities as AGM (Human Resources/Admin) and Acting Executive Director (Finance & Admin). In these roles, she streamlined recruitment processes, managed employee budgets, optimized fleet operations, and advised senior management on financial strategies, significantly reducing operational costs.

Prior to this, Nkiruka spent nearly two decades at Nicon Insurance Plc and Nicon Investment Ltd, where she led HR operations, including payroll audits, staff discipline, and procurement. She also coordinated high-profile international conferences, such as ECOWAS Brown Card meetings, and represented the company at African Insurance Organization (AIO) events. Her early career at Nigeria Reinsurance Corporation in Lagos laid the foundation for her administrative acumen, where she served as Personal Secretary to the Managing Director, managing executive communications and client relations.

Nkiruka holds an M.Sc. in Human Resource Management from ESUT Business School, an MPA in Public Personnel Management from the National Open University of Nigeria, and certifications from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM). She has further honed her skills through international training programs in strategic HR and performance management in the UK, USA, Kenya, and South Africa.

Committed to professional and civic contributions, she served as an ECOWAS Election Observer in Guinea Bissau (2014) and contributed to key committees, including Compliance, Recruitment, and ECOWAS Brown Card initiatives. Outside of work, Nkiruka enjoys reading management journals, aerobics, traveling, and dancing. Referees are available upon request.
